Edited to add, on 6/26. broke my second cable like the first. Don't buy these if you want something that will last more than 2 months! After reading the reviews I was thrilled that this product was perfect for my laptop and needs. Especially for the price and for two! I've been using one of the cables since I got it and just yesterday I was having trouble not charging it all the time while plugged into my laptop. I switched ports and it started charging again so I just thought maybe it was an accident that it stopped charging from this site. Fast forward to today when my daughter called me and told me that when she unplugged her laptop like she had done a million times in the past, the little silver end got stuck in my laptop and out of the cord was drawn! WHICH TYPE?! I wasn't happy! The only reason I felt reasonably comfortable with it was because I had a backup cable. But now I'm wondering if that second cable will last long enough. In the end, I'm glad they sold me two cables for the same price, but if the cable doesn't even last two months, I'm already looking at what other brand I can use to replace this one when it runs out. Strong, beautiful, red in color but could not withstand wear and tear and just fell apart in less than two months. boo
