I have two of these devices. The first block worked great for me last year. I was able to shoot for several hours, usually 5-10 minutes or so, and record 4K at 100Mbps on my A6500. Never had a problem. Then this year my A6500 started shutting down after an hour or so while filming. I bought a second device and had the same problem. I used Anker Powercore 20100 and iClever Bootcube power supplies. Both have a 2.4A output, so that's not a problem. I'm pretty sure it's not a camera issue as my A7s also disables HD video recording. I still give it 2 stars because even after my problems with videos started I can still take multi day time lapse photos with my A7s running on it and haven't had any problems. So it's not totally useless to me - just useless for 90% of the work I do.
