My camera worked 24/7

I left my camera on after a twitch night stream and it was still on so I think it's working pretty well. Haven't tried it with a battery but I think it should work since I have 5V connections.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • There are some quirks

This time saving is good for adapters

I have three batteries for my Sony a6400. I use it as a webcam when streaming, so of course the batteries die quickly. This little tool has arrived. Such a time saver and the great thing is my camera never gets hot. No matter how many hours I wear it.

Pros
  • Good marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Security

Helps prevent overheating problems Sony a7S ii

One of the causes of internal heating in the Sony a7 range of cameras is the self-heating of the battery when discharging. Removing the battery from the camera body eliminates it as a heat source and allows longer 4K video recordings without an external battery. Very handy when you take long shots.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Cannot be used for photo shoots. Video recording ok

Helps with video recording, especially when you are shooting in the studio. You no longer have to worry about changing the battery. But if you want to use it for photography, don't buy it. Some notable cons of the product: 1. Difficult to close the battery cover with the cage. I just left it open when using it to make sure nothing was compressed. You will have trouble taking photos. The voltage generated is NOT SUFFICIENT for the correct operation of the roller shutter. And the camera turns off

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Works great but dead battery gets stuck in camera

Overall I like it because it allows me to shoot long video sequences without removing my Sony camera from the tripod. The only problem I have is that the fake battery somehow gets stuck in the camera and I have to pull hard on the cord to get it out. This may not be good for cables or connections. My guess is that the blanks in the dummy battery are getting stuck in the ribs in the battery compartment. If I can figure out what's sticking - I hope sandpaper will fix it?

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • There are flaws

Answers an important question

The device works as it should. The only downside I have is the awkward physical layout of the device: 3 cables, 3 ports, 2 devices. It would be much better if it was a bundle and a cable with USB A on the end! I had a question, what was the a6000's lowest power consumption mode? This device and the Eversame USB digital power meter told me it wasn't. With the camera off, does it draw 0.00-0.01A when checking for wake up? In viewfinder mode the a6000 draws between 0.28 and 0.8A depending on the…

Worked great with my A6000 for 2 hour interval shooting.

Worked great with my A6000 for 2 hour time lapse. Set up time lapse to capture footage of a private event where I needed footage of guests entering the staged entrance of AT&T Stadium. I didn't want to do over 7000 shutter releases on one of my good cameras, so I used my old A6000. I set it up with a tripod and dummy battery in an a6000 with a RAVPower 26800mAh PD battery (there are 2 of these to power my MacBook Pros). I let it run for 2 hours and it hardly affected the performance of the…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Short guide

Works for time lapse but disables 4K video recording on A6500

I have two of these devices. The first block worked great for me last year. I was able to shoot for several hours, usually 5-10 minutes or so, and record 4K at 100Mbps on my A6500. Never had a problem. Then this year my A6500 started shutting down after an hour or so while filming. I bought a second device and had the same problem. I used Anker Powercore 20100 and iClever Bootcube power supplies. Both have a 2.4A output, so that's not a problem. I'm pretty sure it's not a camera issue as my A7s

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Good quality plastic case but fits Sony a6000 a6300 a6500

Great for my Sony a6500, a6300 and a6000. Although to be honest I'm not sure why such high prices for these things. Pros: - Does it work - Comes with a velcro cable tie (I know it's small but you have no idea how handy it is to just clip the cables to the tripod when you're moving or you will all the time tripping over cords takes time, makes cleaning easy, and I like being able to wrap cords for storage) Cons: - build quality isn't great; Cheap plastic and hollow inside. No complaints as it…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky
