Good quality plastic case but fits Sony a6000 a6300 a6500

Great for my Sony a6500, a6300 and a6000. Although to be honest I'm not sure why such high prices for these things. Pros: - Does it work - Comes with a velcro cable tie (I know it's small but you have no idea how handy it is to just clip the cables to the tripod when you're moving or you will all the time tripping over cords takes time, makes cleaning easy, and I like being able to wrap cords for storage) Cons: - build quality isn't great; Cheap plastic and hollow inside. No complaints as it works well. The plastic key keeps rattling when I move it as it drags across the floor. It's really a pain in the neck and you have to be careful not to step on that thing and break it. I've never had a major problem with it, but when I plug it into a wall with an output of 2 amps or more, I've noticed that my camera's battery level starts to drop after a while. which is weird because it's attached to the wall. I just find it annoying when I have a full day of shooting and the result is 75%. Not sure if it damaged the Sony electronics. Notes: - I wish it came with a mains plug with the correct amps. Sony requires an output current of at least 2 amps to power it. You may need to purchase a separate wall outlet adapter to meet the requirements. Your computer will not charge it. and only certain 2 amp rated batteries will power it. This is stated in the instructions so be sure to buy suitable batteries.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Works for time lapses - but will shut off shooting 4K video on A6500
