The product is durable and functional, but there are many scratches and dents on the metal right out of the box. My hands were black with loose powder paint just touching the details. I don't see this well in any kitchen unless the decor is industrial chic. Luckily I only plan on using it as a TV stand in my practice room so I really don't care how it looks or if it has any blemishes. . It is very durable and easy to assemble (45 minutes for one person). There is a 50/50 chance that you will have to partially assemble it in step 4 if you don't pay enough attention to step 1. The kit includes all the necessary tools and a few spare screws. You need a blade to open the packaging. I love that it comes with legs and wheels. Overall I'm happy with it, but I'd be disappointed if I plan to use it in the kitchen.
