This is a must have if you have an EF lens and R body
I bought this EF-EOS R Control mount ring to be able to use my EF lenses on my new EOS R body , since there is no glass in it is the mount. The control ring adds an extra feature to a cheaper mount, so you can use it to change the ISO or some other feature you might use a lot. As a long-time amateur photographer, I would probably have gotten a cheaper version. Although I'm sure as I use the control ring I'll get used to it and wonder how I managed without it. It's always nice to have that extra feature.
