After only about a month I can't comment on the battery life but I get about 7 hours of playtime from the controller with the Xbox One S chat stand attached. I used to I used a docking station for chargers from Nyko and I like it much better. Firstly I never had to fiddle with the controller to make it sit on contacts like I ALWAYS had to with Nyko, secondly the design allows the controller to be charged with the chat bar attached and thirdly it just looks like a cooler :) If I have anything to complain about, it's the somewhat difficult assembly, which I was afraid of pushing the plastic stand into the base and possibly breaking. It took a few minutes but everything went well in the end. The second small note is that the "fully charged" indicator is yellow, which just doesn't make sense to me. Intuitively a fully charged battery should be "green" but that's a minor complaint, overall I have no buyer concerns. I hope the batteries last and don't run out quickly!
