Power 600W: Blender

I've been buying a 600W hand blender for a few months. I've found a few units for the European market but nothing that would work on US power. I was starting to think the only way out for me would be a regular restaurant blender, but those things are huge and expensive. Eventually I stumbled across the All Clad hand blender expecting it to be on par with other 200-400w brands. I was thrilled to discover the All-Clad is a 600W unit. Finally my search is over. I expected it to be better than the block I replaced but didn't expect it to be great. I was ready to stand at the stove and mix freshly made cream of mushroom soup. I unpacked the All-Clad hand blender and did it in a matter of heartbeats. I was surprised that the soup was cooked so quickly. I stood there with the All-Clad in one hand, figuring I'd have to stir the soup up again. With my other hand, I stirred the soup in search of large chunks of mushroom and found nothing but the cute little chunks of mushroom that I needed. Performance and speed of work - this was a great purchase and I look forward to using it. My only complaint when buying a 600 watt hand blender was having to look up the power information. Most Revain and other retailer websites do not list the wattage of the devices or hide them in the comments. In fact, I've had trouble finding wattage ratings on some manufacturers' websites (I see you Kitchenaid, but because of the colors!).
