Is it better than the Blue Yeti? Not to my ears. Yes, you get more bells and whistles with it, but how much are you going to use? Not many for me. For example, I don't want to sound like a robot or like I'm in a cave, so I'm getting rid of most of the stupid, useless "presets" this thing gives you through the software. For a device that costs significantly more than the backup Yeti, it seems made for kids who want to sound silly about a gaming app. Ok, but at this price? nope Also, the build quality of this thing sucks. For the price I would have expected more. It feels like it's plastic through and through. Remove the included mic stand and you'll feel like it's basically a hollow tube. I don't know: when I'm paying for music or sound equipment, I expect a quality product to last a long time. This is not the case, at least compared to other devices I own.
