Bought to wear them in my motorcycle helmet, the switch is an on/off toggle switch, there is no volume control, the earbuds cancel out wind noise at 60mph and they produce enough sound to hear me Music and not much else at 60-70mph, which is a lot of wind noise and can hurt your ears if not protected. The sound quality isn't exactly that of Sennheiser headphones, but for the price and the function they're supposed to perform, they're pretty good. regular in-ear headphones would kill my ears when taking off and on the helmet and the in-helmet speakers. permissible wind noise. I would consider a much more expensive Bluetooth version if the switch/cable was longer so I could actually turn it on with my helmet, but the wired version works well here.
