Review on Portmeirion Sophie Conran Covered Butter by Flocka Parsons

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A big fan has finally found an awesome butter dish!

Like many others, I was always looking for an oil bowl that could hold: - a longer stick of butter - a wider stick of butter lined with Kerrigold grass - family members minimize the oil mess every morning (I have 2 kids under 7 ) - looks good from counter to dining table - lid keeps bugs/nasties out - we save our butter (salty) for morning toast/waffles) - I was looking for a 2017 butter dish for US homes. Macys, tj max ish, big box etc stores only sell 1990's oil cans. Not practical and dirty because the bell crushes oil (not that). It fits perfectly! The lid, it's a ceramic lid (at least the mind only goes one way), see my photos of right and wrong. Oh, no problem with the cover. I have a feeling this is working well. Also place the image next to the 1/2 Kerrigold butter stick in the "standard butter cloche shell" versus this new shell.
