SOME WARNINGS: FOR INDOOR USE ONLY. Barns, sheds, and garages with dry interiors are perfectly acceptable. I have used several of these controllers over the years as choices are limited. With two beds I had to use two controls at the same time, the other one next to LOW to keep the bed from getting too hot. It is not recommended, but has worked for years without problems. The control knob rotates at the slightest touch. This is dangerous. In all cases, after trial and error has been set to the desired temperature, I tape the knob in place to prevent accidental turning. Cats and puppies will climb around and if the control knob is not secure, the knob will most likely turn all the way and cause serious trouble. Hardware store with 5 or 6 settings, that would be much better and safer. I'm still looking for a better alternative.
