AWESOME WELL MADE BABY SELF-LEAD KIT BUT A BIT TOO EXPENSIVE!

This is a top notch baby food set but $58 seems like a lot. This is a plant-based feeding kit, however, and there can be an elaborate process that turns the yucca plant into a plate, bowl, cup, and utensil that feels and functions like plastic to the world. Plus, this feeding set is biodegradable so it doesn't contribute to our landfill problems. I love that the colors are gender neutral and so beautiful. I have the lime and vanilla set and it's just beautiful, but the light blue is just as pretty. What I like best is that this harness looks very grown-up. This set does not contain children's cartoon characters, which decorate every detail. Rather, they look elegant. Another thing I love about this set is that the spoon and fork are one piece. I think it will be easier for the baby to eat, but it will also be easier for me to wash. Plus, it adds another elegant element to the set. The suction base sticks very easily to smooth surfaces. I don't know if this has anything to do with the set being new, but I had a hard time fiddling with the "leg" to attach it to the base. Perhaps it will dissipate with time and use. It seems that for such a price, they could afford to include two suction cups in this gourmet set, and maybe one per cup. The price of this set is annoying. I like that the plate has a raised rim around the rim. This will definitely help the kid get food on the fork or spoon. It's nice that they include a bowl lid seal so you can carry dry snacks in a baby diaper bag. Overall, I would highly recommend this self-feeding kit with one caveat - the price seems overpriced to me.
