After debating about getting another bed which I don't really have the funds for right now and our mattress isn't that old so a friend talked me into trying a memory foam topper.I went with a 3" thick just so we would have more support and I'm glad I did. But it does add extra height to the bed which is fine for us. I was just glad that our sheets still fit on top of it lol.When we received the box it said to let it air out and the smell would dissipate and give it time to get back into shape. So we actually let it just be for a few days before we even started using it and I did notice a slight chemical smell when I 1st opened it but then after the 1st day the smell went away.My other hesitation about memory foam has always been that it's gonna make the bed really hot but I have to admit I've had no issues with that so far and where our bedroom is we barely get any air conditioning and it's very hot up there.As for comfort for this one let's just say I have not seen my husband tossing and turning nor getting up 50 million times a night to go to the restroom! And I'm enjoying no pain in my hip for once when I get out of bed.I just hope it maintains it's shape for a long time. 🥰
