I bought by the yard to string together to make a Christmas tree garland and it worked. Our tree was particularly bright this year! These are real crystal beads, not acrylic, and the links are high quality metal rings. Since the garland was real, it was heavy, so it was necessary to choose the right tree to decorate it with. We had a short pine spruce with lots of gaps to allow the crystals to drape between the tips of the branches. They will also look great on a real crystal chandelier. Slip rings between the crystal beads allow you to create a chain of the desired length.
