I used this to help with my Shih Tzus tangles when I comb her. Her tangles aren’t bad or anything, but I thought this would help me get through them easier. It helps a little bit, but I’m disappointed overall. I don’t care for the scent much either, but my wife finds the scent quite nice, so it could just be me. It also leaves a sticky residue on your hands if the spray hits them.It does help a lot with static though. When I comb my puppy, her hair will stick straight out from static, but this calms it down quite well.Overall, I don’t know if there’s a better detangler, so I can recommend this if there aren’t other options that are recommended. Just don’t expect to blast right through Shih Tzu tangles.
