The ideal mixer for home cooks who bake in large batches

First, the bowl is huge. I can easily fit four 1.5 pound loaves of bread or a triple serving of biscuits. If the mixer is being used for commercial use or to bake large batches, expect to be able to make 50 medium cookies (measured with a cookie scoop) at a time. I've been trying to make large batches of cookies and while it doesn't bother the blender at all, the bowl overflows. I'm pretty sure a seven liter bowl will fit in this blender and for smaller jobs there's a small bowl/whisk for whipping cream or egg whites. fits well in most kitchens. It's very long, which is good, but it stands out against our gray granite countertops. This car is big. It doesn't slide under our wall units, but fits underneath if I tilt it and then stand upright once underneath. Because it's a lift bowl and not a tilt head, it's easy to use it that way. One of the best features of this blender is the soft start. My craft mixer fills in all the flour, but this mixer starts slow enough that it doesn't make a mess. Even though the cabinets are painted black, I rarely have to wipe up flour dust. It also shifts gears smoothly. If you happen to trip over the slider, give it a minute or two, or put it back in, it doesn't suddenly start running at full speed. Spatula and dough hook work as they should. The spiral hook is a massive improvement over the small hook that comes with the Craft Blender (a blender I've updated). The whisk is excellent. In just a few minutes you will have an amazing merengue. Attachments work fine. I quickly process 50 pounds of baked apples with an applesauce/tomato strainer. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase. When I first got it I thought I made a mistake and should have gone with six liters instead. Now that I'm used to it I'm glad I have the extra size, power and features of the commercial 8 liter version. The fact that it's made in the USA makes it that much better.
