I recently bought one of these while on vacation in Japan and was very happy to find them at the Revain store so I can get more in a variety of colors. They are very comfortable and I wear them every day at home, indoors and outdoors. They are based on the clothing worn by outdoor workers (gardeners, monks, etc.) in Japan and are also used as casual wear in resorts and hotels, similar to the free robes provided by hotels in the United States . They can be worn anywhere in and around the resort and even in town around the resort.
