My new truck finally arrived so we installed a new seat for our sweetheart. She seemed perfectly content to sit in her seat and look out the windows. She's used to a hammock and a bench to walk around on, so I wasn't sure how she'd like being stuck in one place. The seat has a removable cushion, so I took it off so she could sit a little lower on it. which seemed safer to me as she is not a small pup. There are 2 hooks/clips I attached to the back of her seat belt to keep her buckled. I'm not sure what happens when you hit the brakes. I wish it had something that could bypass the headrest to make it safer. Overall I'm happy with it.
