I was happy to find them - so pretty and at a great price - given the quality construction they were able to sell them for a much higher price. I bought these to replace other electric boots that were made out of vinyl and my feet got sweaty in them. I use booties to keep my feet warm in bed because of *foot neuropathy* - toes get freezing cold and just don't get warm any other way. I wear socks in it to fill in the extra space and keep it clean. [I used to use an electric heating pad to wrap my feet but there was always some kind of cold spot on my foot and now that I've tried ankle boots I will NEVER go back. (I've also tried electric socks, but they're not warm enough and the battery is bulky.) I've also tried microwave shoes, but they're not as comfortable and heavy, and if I want to warm my feet again I have to get out of bed . The electric coil provides excellent coverage (see photo) and is super adhesive (it was difficult to get this bootie apart but one stopped working and I was wondering if the connector had come loose. This happened within the 6 month period Warranty the seller had provided me with a new kit and emailed me to make sure I'm happy! The felt inside is very thick which adds to the stiffness that some reviewers are talking about but I managed to mold them into a foot shape. I've never seen single sole electric boots that would help but that makes the price better then better because you can dress them up pretty low if you keep them on for a while would like to feel great after 10 minutes I think it's unfair to rate boots low because they're not necessarily the best they can be (this shows a lack of understanding of the business which should take production and cost into account). . In fact, I think these ankle boots are the best I've seen for the same price as much lower ones. Also, I've read that far-infrared radiation has healing properties beyond just warming your feet like regular electrical devices do.
