It's aluminum - very solid construction. Suitable for laptops with different screen sizes. I personally have two laptops, a Specter x360 and a Y520. The first measures 13.3 inches and the second 15.6 inches. This attitude works for both. The stand itself is very stable - you can use the keyboard without any wobbling. It's also easy to assemble with the included tools. It is worth noting that the designer is very attentive - the kit includes 10 screws, of which only 8 are needed for assembly.
