I remember when I bought this tent it was hard to tell which parts were fully covered and which weren't. This is a fully enclosed mesh tent that will settle and play in your existing crib or backpack. So far we haven't had any escapes. We bought him at the end of the game, he'll be two years old in February, and we only bought him a few months ago, so the little booger will figure out how to unbox him soon. but it keeps him safe in bed for now. He got out of his crib and fell off his changing table (they are attached to each other). Overall I would recommend this item. and in case you're wondering what happens if you get him dirty indoors (puke/puke): one night we got a little nauseous and he threw up in the tent. I was able to clean it and then fold up the whole tent and put it in the washing machine. I let it air dry and everything is fine.
