This cute camera is for a small child, I would say 5-9 years old. It's easy to turn it on and figure out how to use it yourself. My 9 and 7 year old daughters loved choosing frames and "stickers" to put photos on. The camera prints on check paper, black and white, like a receipt. My kids played with it for hours when they first opened it. It was a HUGE hit. They liked it, laughed and smiled a lot. They take photos and stick them in their magazines and share them with their friends. I like that it comes with extra rolls of paper and string. The strap is a must because if this camera is dropped I think it will break easily as it is made of plastic. What I don't like about the camera is that after 2 days of use it stopped printing after 1 or 2 shots. . I read the manual and made sure all the settings were correct, they were. I've found that if I turn it off and on again, it works again. This is very frustrating for my child. I also find that the quality of the photos does not match the price. The light has to be right. Too light or too dark, poor print quality. As you can see from my photos, the image of the pumpkins is very bright as it was taken in bright street light. The photo of the cat was taken in a bedroom with sufficient light. All in all, this camera is a sweet gift for a young child. It's fun, and instant prints are kid-friendly as they print quickly and can be printed in hundreds, so there's no limit to the fun. A great alternative to an expensive "real" camera with expensive paper. I would recommend this product as a gift.
