Amapo makes a wide range of trendy sneakers, and prices can go as high as $100. The $20 version is well made. If you notice the thickness of the sole, the shoe has exceptional cushioning. The sneakers have a nice trendy black look and are handcrafted with a durable rubber outsole. Shiny material with a leather feel. They're easy to put on and take off, and the loop on the back allows you to pull with a finger. The shoe isn't exactly comfortable to wear, I didn't feel overwhelming support from the Amapo's inner arch liner. Shoes can be worn all day, there are no signs of wear. That is, if you don't mind the action. Shoes without laces have a flip-up design that does not close completely. Your pants will most likely cover them. However, if you wear shorts in tropical, sunny weather; that's another story. This opening up can make customers feel overly relaxed. Walking on sand, sweeping the floor, and walking past someone blowing off fall leaves can get particles in your shoes. The slip-ons can stretch, so maybe Amapo could add a larger stretch band or use two on top. Or they consider adding a button closure to close the top. The case, in my opinion, is not a serious defect. It depends on how you feel about it.
