it says you can use needles to inflate. Pumped up a children's ball - it turned out somehow, but slowly. I tried inflating a leather ball and didn't inflate under negative pressure - there just wasn't enough air - more flowed out. I checked all the connections and it just isn't pumping enough air to counter the pressure inside the ball. Probably defective, but maybe that's how it's designed.
