Review on 3DS Charger Power Adapter - Replacement For Nintendo 2/3DS XL 100-240V Wall Plug AC by Marco Huff

When my son plugged this into his 3ds, it made a shrill noise he found very irritating. This alone might have been tolerable, but in less than half an hour, the charger had become uncomfortably hot to touch, so I unplugged it. I don't know whether it would actually cause a fire, but I'm not going to find out. The original charger never got more than warm. The only reason I gave it one star is because zero isn't an option. Next time, I will be careful to order a known brand from a known source!
