As an elderly person, I am in urgent need of slip and fall protection boots for winter work on my hobby farm. I was very disappointed. In deep or heavy/wet snow, icy, hard balls of snow/ice quickly form on the tines. These balls also form where snow is shoveled. In addition, manure and litter quickly accumulate on them, which must be rinsed off with a hose every few minutes. I would not recommend them for use on the farm or in anything other than ideal conditions that only involve walking on ice or very light snow.
