The tachometer fits perfectly in the cut-out in the dashboard.
Very nice looking, easy to install once you understand where to connect the generator cable. The RPM pointer is very stable while the tractor is running. Deducted a star because the instructions don't indicate which way to turn the potentiometer to set the speed. When I first started the tractor, the needle got stuck, so turn it off immediately to avoid damaging the tool. Then I had to guess which way to turn the setting before rebooting. Happy. FYI, if you are looking at the tachometer from behind, turn the potentiometer clockwise to decrease the RPM reading. After setup, the touch worked flawlessly.
