I bought this device instead of Dysan. Initially I thought their suction power was unbeatable but then I read and researched the Dysan reviews and found how their quality has gone down and people think they aren't worth the money. The Shark Rotator has received a lot of praise and many users have been very happy with the quality, performance and suction power. I've been using it for almost 4 months now and I'm happy with my purchase. It took me a while to get used to the different attachments and how the pieces are assembled/disassembled to allow for portability and cleaning of a variety of surfaces. It works great on carpets and allows you to turn off the beaters to vacuum your tile floors. It's also compact and easily fits in my closet. I like the color and the design. The ergonomic handle is a big plus. In general it is very smooth. Some of the features I'm not very happy with are the length of the cord which seems a bit short, the length of the hose to use different attachments can be a bit limited even with the canister removed and lifted alongside your job, that too weight is a little heavy. I think they did a great job of keeping everything compact and I understand the flaws are probably due to it being lighter, smaller etc. I should point out that I repeatedly hit my shin with the nozzle holder. This is bad for me. So I have to make a mental note so I don't forget it too quickly. Lots of bruises. I think you will be satisfied and very satisfied with this item. It is well made and works perfectly. I hope this is helpful. John
