I use them to go through the small hole in the zipper on jeans and the large button they attach to jeans to keep the zipper taut. In my entire adult life, I've never owned a pair of jeans that didn't have a zipper. What's going on here? I much prefer button down jeans, but I should buy jeans based on their size and price, not the type of fastening system.
