Bought as a gift for my husband for Christmas 2017. The sound quality is very good for a relatively small device. Used the 2 cassette recording feature which is very hard to find these days and it worked well. I've played very old records and didn't miss any of them, which I expected given their age. I suspect that this is due to the good quality of the player and the stylus. Generally good quality for this money. The only complaint is that the description led me to believe that you can burn from a vinyl record to a blank CD, but you can't.
