The tongue of the boot does not open at the top as it is attached to the sides to the end. So untying the laces doesn't open the boot enough to fit a slightly wider foot. Also, the bottom part is not comfortable enough for a hard landing while running. For light walks and with a not very wide toe box, this shoe can be comfortable.
