Installation in Ender 3

This was my first time replacing my hotend and I was very nervous that I would do permanent damage. Luckily it wasn't as difficult as I expected. The part is the same as the one that came with my Ender 3, it is rated for 24v so read the fitting instructions that came with your Ender before purchasing. 3 and make sure you have 24v (some seem to be 12v). Mine came with the same silicone sock but it seems like some of the older ones only have the captain's strap and if that's the case with yours that's a minor upgrade. I would suggest needle nose pliers as you may need them to connect the wires to the screw connectors on the board. The room is very small and it's hard to see what you are doing there. The mini screwdriver that comes with the Ender 3 will fit the screws on the circuit board. I watched the tutorial video on YouTube and paused it repeatedly while following step by step. Having only done it once, I feel like I can easily repeat it without instructions. I'm now seriously considering switching to a micro-swiss all-metal extruder, but I'm glad I was able to practice and learn a bit with a much cheaper extruder. about installation and parts in advance.
