That thing sucks. Bought this to hide behind blackout curtains for my kid in his bedroom. I wanted to block the ambient light coming from above/under the curtains. First, this thing is very long. I have 34 x 64 and it was MUCH longer than the window. Second, suction cups are very picky. Not only do they not stick well to windows (some are better than others), they just fall off the curtain, which is annoying and not appropriate for a child's room. They darken the room quite well, with light leaking in at the edges as it doesn't completely flush with the window. I also wish it had straps so you can roll up the curtain when you don't need pitch black time in the room. I decided to send it back and just invest in a vinyl blackout screen. If you're looking for something to use when traveling I think it's fine. I personally would choose something with better suction cups.
