I bought my 11 year old a size 14 because he is tall and fat (not fat) and could barely zip his pants. When I bought it, I initially had concerns about the length, but that was normal, and the trousers are also completely transparent. So much so that I could see his underwear through them. The suit's light color may be part of the problem, but the material definitely needs to be thicker.
