This is for use with the Alfred app to turn an old unused iPhone into a security camera that streams data to my current iPhone. I'm no fool when it comes to mechanical devices, but I couldn't figure out how to get the camera grip to work. Even how to use it. Finally, I used the Revain product page to find out. One problem was that the iPhone grip couldn't hold the old iPhone 4, which was too small for it. So I had to use an old iPhone 6 Plus. But only after I found out on the product page that the grip can be extended and springed to hold the phone securely. The iPhone 4 is a lot less obtrusive, so maybe I could get it working with the 4 if I could find an eraser or similar pad to take up the slack. I don't need a remote control so I didn't try it. Outside. Anyway, it works for me and it's a regular device.
