I avoid scented soaps because many of them are carcinogenic. These ingredients are better than most. Most importantly - in times of very frequent hand washing - this product really makes my skin softer. I got dermatitis from another hand soap and need to be careful. Finally, I'm glad to see it comes in gallon jugs as I can't stand buying plastic bottles. I can easily refill my original small dispenser.
