My son wanted me to learn how to make hats for him and I didn't really want to buy a hoop. I watched a YouTube video on how to use this product to securely fasten difficult items. It works! So far I've only had time for two things - a sled and a finished big bag. It worked great for both. The toboggans are stretchy, but this keeps them securely in place without shifting. I used a water soluble batting on top to keep the seams from sinking in. My embroidery looked very professional. Another item I tried on, a ready made tote bag, was difficult to attach, as it was already sewn together and space to maneuver the hoop was limited. This stabilizer held it securely in place to complete the large monogram without worrying about the frame. (You can usually get a tire with a good Spray Magic sizing.) For something this tacky, this stabilizer immediately strayed from my finished designs. I plan to use it on a fleece blanket next time. I'll try it with a baseball cap soon.
