This envelope is well made and the one I received had no obvious flaws. This coating will likely last at least a year or more. The fabric is much thicker than parachute nylon and has a water repellent finish that works very well. It covers my Polaris Sportsman front to back and top to bottom leaving room for reserve. I wanted a heavier fabric like canvas with a waterproof coating but didn't want to spend two or three times as much if my family has a habit of pulling the covers off without thinking about snagging or tearing. I would not use this cover when towing a Polaris. It's perfect for night lighting or bad weather.
