Used for rats. They are absorbent and easy to wash. I love her. They are also easy to spot with a mini scoop of clean feces. I recommend. I'm a little worried about the underside which might feel rubbery. I attach them to my bottom tray so they don't move and rats can't get under them so I don't need a rubber bottom. I worry if my rats will end up chewing on it, if it will hurt them or not. I'm also concerned about sustainability because I don't know what it's made of or if that makes disposal an issue. So I would recommend reco to solder the ground or reveal what it is made of and how to dispose of it. And whether it's safe for pets that chew
