The battery did not charge when placed on the stand. The LED indicator on the charging dock didn't turn orange or white while charging if it was fully charged when I placed the controller on the charging dock. I tried the battery from a previously purchased stand and charged the new base, so the problem was with the battery that came with that stand. Since there are no replacement batteries for this stand, I sent it back.
