As a foreword, I've been using this for about 3 months, I use the iPhone X, I have the Android kit from iDoing, I mount my phone 3 inches from the receiver without any obstacle ; and I updated the app to the latest version. So here's the assessment: The signal between the phone and the button is very weak. I can literally reach for my phone to change a song or watch something which causes me to barely close the receiver and it loses signal. Don't even ask me if this thing can actually connect when the phone is in your pocket (I'd say it connects 30% of the time). There's nothing more dangerous than being connected to Apple Carplay, using the head unit to determine direction, and turning this thing off out of nowhere when I need to make a turn. Many times I had to fiddle with the app to reconnect it while driving, I don't even care that it reconnects automatically because it was barely working properly. works perfectly, from getting into the car I can get from point A to point B without any problems, is around 10%. tl; dr DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY OR WASTE YOUR LIFE ON THIS CHARACTER
