Despite claims of being made in Korea the one I received was MADE IN CHINA. No better than available locally.Update: 1/14/22- light, thin, yet still strong enough to carry full pocket of gear and windproof enough (although vests have no collar nor arms) on an active walk in 40-50°F weather on windy day. When not walking, it's thin enough to wear under a thicker warmer overcoat adding virtually zero bulk.
