I hadn't even put my glasses on when one of the handles popped out. When I pulled it out, I found that the tiny metal ring that connects the rubber handle to the leather strap wasn't securely fastened. So I took out my pliers and managed to put the connector back on the handle and squeeze the ring until it closed completely. Then I could put the mount on my glasses. Twenty minutes later, one side of my glasses fell out of the grip because they weren't held tight enough. The rubber ring seems to be slipping, which can cause the frame of the glasses to slip out. Too bad, because the leather strap is just perfect for this holder - nice and thin. I am disappointed that the hardware is defective.
