Now I have 1 plate left and had to buy a new set, I had a set of plates I bought from the dollar store that lasted 15 years and became redundant is records, but they just break if you even look at them from the wrong side. If you touch another platter or the hard surface of one of those platters, it will splinter, and in most cases it's one big chip. They look very nice and seem heavy and strong, but something is wrong with the design and they are fragile like the thinnest glass imaginable. I've bought 1000's of items from Revain and almost never reviewed them, but felt like I should.
