and burned out pretty quickly. I have a different clutch

When I received this clutch it fitted perfectly. But the sleeve (the gap between the engine output shaft and the inner surface of the clutch) I forgot to lubricate, and it burned out pretty quickly. I had a different clutch but it was a different brand. It differed in that it had mounting bolts to attach to the driveshaft rather than a built in key like this. Needless to say, this one fits better. The replacement fit strangely, this caused the chain to rub against the frame and I broke the chain several times. Finally I took a saw and removed some material from the frame so it wouldn't rub. However, this one fits better. The reason I didn't give that five stars is because they didn't send anything (no instructions) to tell people to lube the bushing (PS - you should lubricate it after almost every use with a lube or two Lubricate drops of motor oil - less often when using a heavy gear oil like 80W90 which I recommend). But remember these holes in the picture are NOT oiled! If you lubricate them, you will ruin the clutch. Those are cooling holes. When the clutch reaches maximum RPM these things remove heat to cool the clutch. For this reason, gear ratios are important when using a clutch. The kart/motorcycle must be driven at maximum speed to cool down significantly. The slot of the central hole is lubricated with a few drops of oil.
