this clutch is good but i thought it would be ok concluded it drives smaller wheels if you have big wheels the clutch will overheat very quickly .

This is a great grip. However, make sure your tire size is under 13 inches, the rear sprocket is over 60 teeth, and the total weight of the cart or bike with or on you is under 400 pounds. All of these properties should be close to these.

Installed on the 212cc Predator engine. The day went well and the clutch started to kick in. After replacing the brake drum and band (my son didn't know any better than that the kart wouldn't stop) I found that it would idle if I cranked it on the bench. I've been building small engines since the early 90's so it's not like I don't know what I'm doing. Can you adjust the clutch springs? Seller help!

Got this to replace a badly worn clutch on my son's Murray Explorer 2 seater kart. This device works just like the original clutch without the drama. It runs at about the same RPM and gets the kart up to speed. It should be noted that this coupling has no set screw or means of installing it. Before installing I removed the snap ring to remove the outer part to apply grease to the main hub then reassembled and installed. Hope it lasts for many years.

When I received this clutch it fitted perfectly. But the sleeve (the gap between the engine output shaft and the inner surface of the clutch) I forgot to lubricate, and it burned out pretty quickly. I had a different clutch but it was a different brand. It differed in that it had mounting bolts to attach to the driveshaft rather than a built in key like this. Needless to say, this one fits better. The replacement fit strangely, this caused the chain to rub against the frame and I broke the…
