I travel a lot for work and on days when I need a touch up or a quick straightening, this flat iron helps me out. The compact size fits easily in my carry-on, and the heat-resistant body means I can pack it up and go in a hurry. It also helped me "save the edge" by allowing me to keep my relaxers going for a couple of weeks before I needed to chemically treat my hair. The compact size allows me to get very close to my roots and lengthens my hair perfectly. Other reviewers have also mentioned this, but I think it's worth repeating. This straightener goes HOT HOT HOT, and with no heat setting, that means you really need to (a) use enough of your favorite heat protectant to keep your hair from roasting like Thanksgiving turkey, or (b) 400+ degrees to is a lot, try heating the straightener and then unplugging it to lower the temperature to a manageable level (and yes, you may have to do this a few times if you have a lot of hair to work with have to). The smooth plates make styling easier, so one pass should be enough, even for very coarse and unruly hair like mine. Although I have very short hair, I can see this working just as well for those of you with long hair. I am a conscientious T3 addict and this has been a welcome addition to my other T3 products that I use regularly. This is a great tool for those of you who want consistent results, superior straightening, portability, and durability. Try it!
