Other reviewers share most of my sentiments, but I'll add a few. I have had over 50 bikes in my 64 years and now I have 5 with my 1981 Goldwing Interstate being the largest @ 800#. It should not be asked to hold the bike upright by itself. With all the straps I always use on my bike when transporting it, it really only serves as a front wheel stopper on my flatbed truck. I opened up the mounting screw holes for the larger screws and put washers under the thin base where the screws go to keep the base from sagging.
