Review on 🚽 Taylor Electronic Glass Talking Bathroom Scale: 440 Lb. Capacity for Easy Weight Monitoring by Stephanie Thompson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pretty good talking scale but not great

I have vision problems so I need my scale to talk to me. This scale does a pretty good job. It's heavier than the previous one, and that's a good thing, not a bad thing. I always thought the other was a bit unstable. I don't think that applies to this product. I gave the product four stars instead of five for two reasons. At first the "English" female voice sounds as if it had a German accent. Although I like the German accent, it seems to bother me. I agree this is a pet but we all have them. My biggest complaint is fluctuating weight reports. My old talking scale reported a different weight every time I stepped on it, even if I just got up and got up. This annoyed me greatly because it made me doubt its accuracy. The new one doesn't have this problem. I can step on it and get out of it and it usually gives me the same readout. But if I step on it, then move away and come back a few minutes later, I can prepare differently. And believe me, I haven't gained or lost a few percent of a pound in less than five minutes. While it's much better than my previous one, it's not as good as I'd like it to be.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Nothing here
